Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 amโ8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach JP's Pizza & Grill at (847) 853-9999; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, jpspizza.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 132 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Wilmette and suggests consistent service.
Wilmette is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Wilmette follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely loved this place-seriously, just go eat here, you wonโt regret it ๐๐! From the outside it looks pretty simple and unassuming, but donโt let that fool you inside itโs a total hidden gem โจ. The food is outstanding, full of rich, authentic flavors, and the prices feel very fair for the quality youโre getting ๐ธ๐. The whole experience, from the dishes to the service, gives off this charming European vibe, like youโve stepped into a cozy little villa somewhere far away ๐ฎ๐น๐ท. It doesnโt feel touristy at all-more like one of those genuine, small local spots youโd find while traveling through Europe. Honestly, it feels like the owner just brought a piece of Italy to Evanston, and it works beautifully ๐โค๏ธ. I enjoyed every moment there and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Well, we really had hoped for a better outcome based on other reviews โ but this place just fell flat. We ordered a mozzarella sticks appetizer, one personal pizza with one topping and one medium with two toppings on half. Total was $60-ish after tax and tip. What? Yep! Pizza? Fine. Mozzarella sticks? Standard. Ranch? Watery. Cracker thin crust was nice, but we could have made the same choice closer to home with a much better pie at Candlelight in Rogers Park. We were provided styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery for dining. Our water was served in red solo cups, and we sat at a 4-top table with a charming, yet old and severely discolored, plastic checkered tablecloths. The decor? Think 90s kitsch โOlive oil gift sets grown dusty, empty pizza boxes, cans of tomatoes, etc. Our server, whom we assume was an owner, was very kind and really (!!) pumped up their menu options. But this place was a total miss!

Offers slices or whole Italian-style pizzas in a warm, cosy setting with Italian pictures and cooking products decorating the walls. I had a small North Shore pizza and - I donโt use this word often, but - I thought it was perfect, the base was thin and slightly crispy, the toppings complemented each other well, and it was sliced into easily managed squares. I was hungry but it would be great for sharing. Iโm pretty sure youโd struggle to find a better tasting similar pizza in Italy itself.

Very good ultra thin crust pizza: crisp crust and the toppings blended together very nicely (bechamel sauce, cheese, artichokes, spinach). Happy and conscientious service. It's more suited to takeout or delivery than dine-in. (Plastic forks and disposables.) But I would return for sure.
